24th of July Celebration

We will be celebrating our 24th of July on Wednesday, July 24th, 2024.  We are in the process of planning our 24th celebration right now.  If you want to volunteer to help with the celebration, call the Town Hall.  Please continue to check our website for updates that will be coming as we get things planned.

WEDNESDAY JULY 24, 2024

•  6:00 AM-BIKE 5K RACE BEGINS AT 6:00 AM (SELF-PROPELLED STANDARD BIKES ONLY - NO
  MOTOR/ELECTRIC)
• 6:05AM- 5K RUN/WALK RACE BEGINS AT
  (AWARDS FOR OVERALL 1ST MAN AND WOMAN AND 1ST, 2ND, 3RD PLACE IN EACH
  CATEGORY - PARTICIPANTS MAY SELECT 1 CATEGORY OF THEIR CHOOSING)
• 6:15AM-1 MILE FUN RUN/WALK BEGINS (SIGN UP INFO POSTED ON FACEBOOK AND AT
  POST OFFICE.)
• 7:30 AM-FLAG CEREMONY AT THE PARK FOLLOWING THE INTRODUCTION OF THE 2024
  GRAND MARSHAL
• 8:00-9:00AM-FIRE FIGHTER BREAKFAST AT THE PARK ($4.00 PER TICKET)
  (YOU CAN PREPAY AT THE OFFICE WITH CASH, CHECK, OR CARD. OR MORNING OF AT THE PARK.)
• 10:30AM- PARADE: THEME: LEVAN, AMERICA'S HEARTLAND (STARTS AT 100 E 300 S)
• AFTER THE PARADE until 2:00-CARSHOW AT THE PARK (SIGN UPS WILL BE LOCATED AT TOWN OFFICE OR ONLINE)
• AFTER THE PARADE UNTIL 5:00 PM-LUNCH, DRINKS & SNACKS IN THE PARK
  (LEVAN STUDENTS FFA NATIONALS FUNDRAISER) & AFTER DINNER-UNTIL SOLD OUT SNACKS/DRINKS (LEVAN STUDENTS FFA NATIONALS FUNDRAISER)
• 11:30AM-1:00PM- BIKE CONTEST AGE GROUPS: (0-5, 6-8, 8-12)
• 11:30AM-5:30PM-BOUNCE HOUSES, MECHANICAL BULL, DUNK TANK, JOUSTING, BB GUN SHOOT, TUG OF WAR, DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT
• 12:00PM-3:00PM-TRAP SHOOT
• 1:00-2:00PM OR UNTIL ITS GONE- "HELPING HANDS BAKE SALE " AT THE PARK (DONATIONS ACCEPTED UNTIL 12:00) (ALL PROCEEDS WILL BE GOING TO AN INDIVIDUAL

Registration Forms:

Forms can be filled out via google forms, printed and handed into Levan Town (printed copies can be found at the post office) or email to Levan Town at [email protected]

Car Show

• Participant will receive a limited edition car show T-shirt (you must register by July 11th to secure the size you want)
• Payment is due at the time of registration or by July 20th the Levan Town Office via cash or check. (You will receive your shirt once fees are paid and shirts arrive)

Levan Celebration Volunteers:

• Volunteers will receive a free t-shirt (you must fill form out by July 7th to secure the size you want)

T-shirt Purchases:

Deadline to order shirts is July 11th to secure your shirt size/color. A limited amount of shirts will be available to purchase at the event. Funds are due when shirts arrive or day of the event. You can pay via check or cash through Town Hall or at an event.
